About Us

Palmer Marler Funeral Homes have been providing continuous service to the families of the Cushing area since 1896. Our Funeral Home’s roots trace back to when the Walters Furniture Store, which was located at 201 E. Broadway, began providing funeral service to the community of Cushing. The Walter’s family sold to the Garrison family and they operated the funeral home until Al Fairley bought the funeral home on September 21, 1939. Mr. Fairley continued the tradition until selling the funeral home to his son-in-law, Joe Perry, in 1965.
